Food your guests still talk about

Wedding food truck hire in London

The sit-down meal is at six. By nine, everyone is dancing, drinking and quietly starving. That is where we park up.

Why a food truck

Evening food that gets people off their seats

A tray of cold sandwiches does not compete with a dance floor. A truck does. The smell of steak and onions on a griddle pulls people outside, gets them talking in the queue, and sends them back in with something hot in their hands.

  • Cooked to order in front of your guests — nothing sitting under a heat lamp
  • Works as evening food, or as the whole reception if you want something relaxed
  • Feeds the people the caterer forgets: the band, the photographer, the kids
  • Doubles as a photo backdrop — the truck is genuinely good-looking
  • Vegetarian options available, and we will work around allergies you tell us about

The practical bit

What your venue will want to know

Most venues ask the same five questions before they will let a truck on site. Here are the answers — send this page to your coordinator and it usually settles it.

Space and access

We need a firm, reasonably level pitch and a route wide enough to drive in. Grass is usually fine in dry weather. Tell us the venue and we will check it ourselves.

Power and water

The truck runs self-sufficiently — we bring our own power and water. No trailing cables across your venue's lawn, no drain on their supply.

Timings

We arrive around two hours before service and set up in under an hour. Service usually runs 90 minutes to two hours. We clear the pitch and leave it as we found it.

Paperwork

Venues normally ask for public liability insurance, a food hygiene certificate, gas safety documentation and a risk assessment. We send the full pack directly to your coordinator.

Numbers

We plan capacity around your final guest count so the queue keeps moving and the last person served gets the same food as the first.

Wet weather

We cook rain or shine. If your venue has a covered area for the queue, great — if not, we will talk through where to position the truck.

Common questions from couples

How far in advance should we book?

Summer Saturdays go first — if your date is in June, July, August or September, get in touch as early as you can. Midweek and off-season dates are usually available at much shorter notice.

How much does it cost?

We quote a fixed price per head with a minimum spend, so you know the number before you commit. The price depends on guest count, location and how long you want us serving. Send us your date and numbers and you will have a written quote within 24 hours.

Can you cater the whole wedding, not just the evening?

Yes. Plenty of couples want something relaxed all the way through rather than a formal sit-down. Tell us the running order and we will build the service around it.

What about vegetarian and vegan guests?

We can put on vegetarian options — tell us how many when you book. Speak to us about any allergies well in advance and we will talk you through exactly what is in each dish.

Do you travel outside London?

Regularly. We cover London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and go up to around 100 miles from base. Further is often still possible — just ask.

Is your date free?

Send us the date, the venue postcode and rough numbers. We will confirm availability and send a fixed quote within 24 hours.
