How we handle your personal data.

Who we are
Philly Philly Food Truck ("we", "us") operates this website and is the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us at phillyphillysteak@gmail.com or on 07599 182162.
Registered company details and postal address: to be added.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you complete our enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, event type, event date, venue postcode, guest numbers, budget guide, any message you write and how you heard about us.
- Contact you initiate. If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, we hold that correspondence.
- Website usage. If you accept non-essential cookies, we collect analytics and advertising measurement data. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and quote for your event — necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver a booking you have made — performance of a contract.
- To keep business and tax records — legal obligation.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising — your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host, our enquiry form provider, our email provider, and — where you have consented — Google and Meta for analytics and advertising measurement. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Booking records are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax requirements. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in the tools we use.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email phillyphillysteak@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
