Terms & conditions
The booking terms that apply to event catering.
Last updated: August 2026 · These terms are being finalised. Until then, the written quote we send you sets out the terms of your booking.
1. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and are based on the date, location, guest numbers and service window you give us. A booking is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and confirmed the date in writing.
2. Deposit and payment
A deposit is payable to secure your date, with the balance due before the event. The exact amounts and dates are set out in your quote.
Deposit percentage and payment terms: to be confirmed.
3. Changes and cancellation
If you need to change your date we will always try to accommodate it, subject to availability. If you cancel, the amount refundable depends on how close to the event we are.
Cancellation windows and charges: to be confirmed.
4. Guest numbers
Final numbers must be confirmed by the date stated in your quote. We cater to the confirmed figure; we cannot guarantee food for significantly more guests than we were told to expect.
5. Site, access and safety
You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, legal access to the pitch, adequate space to serve, and any permissions the venue or local authority requires. If we cannot access or safely operate at the site on arrival through no fault of ours, the booking is treated as cancelled on the day.
6. Travel
Travel within our standard area is included in the quoted price. Longer journeys may carry an additional charge, which will be shown on your quote before you commit.
7. Allergies and dietary requirements
You must tell us about allergies and dietary requirements in advance. Our food is prepared in a single mobile kitchen where multiple allergens are handled and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from traces of an allergen.
8. Circumstances outside our control
If we cannot attend because of something genuinely outside our control — severe weather that makes the site unusable, a road closure, vehicle failure, illness — we will tell you as soon as we know and refund sums paid for services we cannot deliver.
9. Liability
We hold public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
